About Our Team

Our team is composed of students from different backgrounds, identities, ages, and geographical areas. The mission of our initiative is to enable girls and other underrepresented groups to envision themselves in computer science — and that starts with ensuring that our students are able to see people like them teaching and organizing our classes.

About Our Organization

CodeHers Collective is a student-led organization. We believe that education should be accessible — and that's why we're committed to providing free quality introductions to computer science for all students.

We create and utilize open-source content in order to teach students the basics of computer science. Our goal is to allow our students to explore different fields of computer science — web development, game development, app creation — and create their own projects from scratch. We're working to instill a love of coding in them and empower them to continue their computer science journeys beyond just the classes we teach.
